点评：A nice small bird sanctuary inside the Kaveri Forest Nisargdhama Campus. Be prepared to pay the entry fees twice - one to enter the Nisargdhama forest park and the next to enter the bird sanctuary. Some quite a good different species of birds can be seen inside. The feed to the bird is advertised to be included in the entry fees to the sanctuary - but you have to pay again inside, if you want to be photographed with birds eating their feed from your palms. Yes, indeed that gives a unique experience with a flurry of birds sitting all over you including your head and trying the eat from their feed in your palms.
Contains a pair of OStrich also - huge almost ten-eleven foot height - and move around a barricaded zone inside the sanctuary. Indeed a unique experience. So this bird sanctuary is not as vast as the one in Darjeeling, indeed, but the contains a good number of different species of birds and hence a must visit experience.
