One day really isn't long enough!
多佛城堡的点评
点评：Whilst on our way to France we decided to stay a day in Dover, visiting the castle was something I'd always wanted to do. I was not disappointed and ended the day by becoming a member of the English Heritage so i can visit again and again.
We started the day by visiting the Wars Tunnels, this was the main attraction for me. These were so immersive and the guide gave an excellent tour. They were exactly what i wanted and i was not disappointed. Operation dynamo was a brilliant addition and very well presented.
We moved on to the hospital tour, this was exceptional and may well have eclipsed the War tunnels on the sense of being there at the time. The guide was excellent and she made my daughter feel at ease throughout the tour.
We also did the Napoleonic tunnels and museum and these were fascinating.
We spent the rest of the day wondering around the grounds and letting the children loose on the play ground. We never got chance to do the main keep but will definitely return for that.
An excellent day out and well worth a must see!
