点评:We got an organised shuttle bus from Sarande to Gjirokaster via the blue eye, which cost 26 euros - more than a standard bus, but we felt it was well worth it for the experience and convenience.
The buses drop you off at the car park and it's then a c.30 minute walk to the blue eye. There are also scooters available to rent for about 15 euros, and there is a land train shuttle service.
The Blue Eye itself was absolutely stunning, though heaving with tourists as expected. It wasn't entirely clear where we could swim, but there was a spot behind the restaurant where we were allowed to brave the icy waters alongside the handful of other visitors foolhardy enough to join us! Would highly recommend going for a dip, if you can: it made our day.
We were there for 2 hours, which was plenty to walk both ways, enjoy the views and go for a swim.
