Crystal clear waters, too many tourists (but if you can't beat em, join em!!)

点评：We got an organised shuttle bus from Sarande to Gjirokaster via the blue eye, which cost 26 euros - more than a standard bus, but we felt it was well worth it for the experience and convenience.
The buses drop you off at the car park and it's then a c.30 minute walk to the blue eye. There are also scooters available to rent for about 15 euros, and there is a land train shuttle service.
The Blue Eye itself was absolutely stunning, though heaving with tourists as expected. It wasn't entirely clear where we could swim, but there was a spot behind the restaurant where we were allowed to brave the icy waters alongside the handful of other visitors foolhardy enough to join us! Would highly recommend going for a dip, if you can: it made our day.
We were there for 2 hours, which was plenty to walk both ways, enjoy the views and go for a swim.
