So sad to see it now so run down
Aquarium du Perigord Noir的点评
点评：We have been visiting the aquarium nearly every year for at least the last 12 years. It was one of my daughters favourite places to visit on our holiday in the Dordogne.
After an hour of queueing, with only 1 person dealing with 2 separate queues (and consequently angry customers), we were very upset to see the state of the aquarium this year. Many tanks were so dirty that we could not even see the fish/other animals. On one tank, there was a sign saying that they were now using fresh water rather than chemicals, which resulted in some plankton/algae to grow. But it was SO dirty, surely it could still be cleaned/filtered. Many other tanks/enclosures were empty or were very low in animal numbers.
Some areas that were in previous years full of animals had been turned into 'Expos' with just posters and information.
Some of the wooden plank walkways were rotting and becoming dangerous, an accident waiting to happen.
For the price of €20 each, we were in there for less than an hour (making it an expensive hour). Whereas in the past we spent nearly the whole day there, enjoying watching the fish and other animals.
We left feeling very disappointed and very sad at how run down the place had become. Unless we hear of a big change we will not be returning. So sad.
