点评：Visited on a journey that took us past the castle. We were going to go into the castle, but the entry fee of £17.50 seemed very excessive. In order to access the castle, you were to be treated to what appeared to be a walk of over 800m from the ticket office to the entry to the castle. No good if you are elderly or not steady on your feet. No toilets available unless you paid the entry fee as no facilities at the car park. Also if you did not want to visit, but wanted to buy a keepsake or present from the shop, again you could not unless you paid the entry fee here. Not all people can afford to pay the entry fee, but would like to buy a keepsake or present. The owners have definitely missed a truck here BUT I can only think they want the money off you, and not offer you a good experience unless you pay the exorbitant entry fee. It is such a shame they are taking advantage of visitors this way. Not a good reflection on Scotland, if you are a visitor.
