点评：On a rainy day in Oban we took the bus to the castle. From the central bus station take the 4 or 405 from Oban to Dunbeg. The Driver will tell which stop and which way to walk; there are no signs, but you continue straight down the road on which you are dropped. Pass the Maritime Center until the end of the road which is the parking lot and you’ll see a sign for the castle. 5-10 minute walk depending on your speed. Another 5 minutes brings you to the castle ticket office. Buy a ticket for 8.50 pp. There is only one placard to read. It’s an easy tour round the castle and out to the chapel in the woods. For the Chapel take first path to left or go straight on for the edge of the sea.
We went out and back and saw it all (enjoyed it) in the one hour to get back to the bus stop for the return trip (the buses are at 1 hour intervals). The earliest bus to take would be the 9:18 as the castle opens at 9:30 and can be back by 10:45.
