点评：Visited the Royal Botanic Garden in May and ended up going twice—it’s that good. The first time, we explored the big picture: sweeping lawns, grand glasshouses, and large landscape features. On the second visit, we slowed down for the rock garden, packed with diverse alpine plants and tiny moss-covered corners. Even with two trips, we barely scratched the surface—this place is huge, so follow your own interests rather than trying to see it all.
I have a love-hate thing with British hedges—perfectly trimmed and uniform, yet a bit too rigid. But the bursts of colour from pale rhododendrons, the Japanese bridge over dark grasses, and the mix of trees and shrubs feel wonderfully alive. Even the purple flowers spilling from nearby gardens made the walk out magical.
