Very disappointing and concerning experience
Lionspruit Game Reserve的点评
点评：The park was supposed to close at 6:00 p.m., but when we tried to leave at around 4:30 p.m., we discovered that the gate had already been locked and we had effectively been left trapped inside the reserve.
This was extremely irresponsible, especially considering that visitors are inside a wildlife reserve. We spent a considerable amount of time trying to attract someone’s attention at the gate, and during the ordeal my son came dangerously close to being electrocuted by the electric fence.
Eventually, a neighbor came to our assistance, entered the park’s office, found the key, and was able to open the gate for us.
Aside from the fact that we did not see much wildlife during our visit, being locked inside a game reserve well before the advertised closing time was completely unacceptable. The possibility of being stranded there after dark is not an experience I would recommend to anyone.
Management seriously needs to review its closing procedures and make sure the reserve is completely clear of visitors before locking the gates.
