点评:This is a Prefectural (State) Park. If you look at a map, it is the forested area between Takarazuka and Nishinomiya. It is quite large. Lots of various hiking trails for all levels of hikers and for those who just want a breath of fresh natural air.
Parking is FREE!!!! Be forewarned, on holidays and weekends, the parking lot fills up fast. There is an attendant who will guide you and inform you when it is full.
There are nice, flushable washrooms throughout the park. No outhouses here. There are also many access points for clearly labeled potable water. Vending machines are at the entrances and exits. Countless benches all over the place. What I really appreciated was the many picnic tables. However, one big prohibition was the use of any fires, which means no BBQ allowed.
There were many couples and families bringing their picnic lunches and enjoying nature or the view.
There is a large peace statue in the middle of the park, which also has a water mister on weekends and holidays. This would be very nice on a hot summer's day. There are also other water features that can cool you down.
Pets are ALLOWED.
What a hidden gem so close to the city. I know where I am going to go the next time I need a bit of nature.
