点评:The amount of items they have placed into this relatively small footprint of an exhibition is wild. There’s just content all the time and all over!
The two focused ‘black box’ rooms at each end work well to present a particular narrative about the Bauhaus, while the in-between general exhibition is densely packed with drawings, some models, a furniture rack display, and books and prints. There’s perhaps a greater emphasis and showcase of what I will term ‘spatial experiments’ than architectural designs, with a lot of photographs and prints of objects or abstract shapes in particular arrangements and all made by the Bauhaus Masters. The furniture shelving running down the centre of the exhibition does, however, give a material design response to all the drawing experiments, which I understood to be an intrinsic link in the works of the Bauhaus.
