Al Ain Zoo的点评
点评：Spent a day with the family at Al Ain Zoo, and it was definitely worth the drive up from Dubai. The ticket pricing is reasonable and there is plenty to see once you're inside. Even though at the time of our visit, it's clear that there were a number of exhibits and attractions that were under construction or in a state of upgrade.
The Sheikh Zayed Desert Learning Centre is an impressive building - inside and out! We particularly enjoyed the Big Cat Oasis and the large open plan exhibit housing a wide variety of African wildlife, such as rhino's, giraffes, zebras, etc.
According to the zoo map we received upon arrival, new exhibits coming soon include the Gorilla Sanctuary, Reptile Park and Elephant Safari.
It would be great to see these exhibits the next time we visit - as well as booking the Al Ain Safari.
The only negative would be the lack of food/drink venues inside the zoo - I think we only passed one snack shop. The only real option are the numerous food trucks located outside the zoo - which means you have to wait until the end of your visit. Hopefully with all the planned upgrades, this topic is also addressed.
