Well worth visiting, especially on a dry day.
Castle Coole的点评
点评：We came here on a lovely sunny day which was a complete contrast to the weather when we visited Florence Court. We decided that, since it was a nice day, we'd do the house tour before exploring the rolling parkland. Castle Coole is a much more grandiose mansion than Florence Court which is reflected in opulence of the interior and the furnishings. Our tour guide, Noelle, was extremely informative and answered our many questions very competently.
After our tour, we'd decided to complete the Lake Walk which is about 1.8km. My wife was able to "borrow" a mobility scooter to allow her to do this walk, which was a blessing. Having mobility scooters available for use by visitors is an excellent idea, especially if you're encouraging them to explore the extensive grounds. Unfortunately, due to the lush, lakeside vegetation and trees, it's difficult to see the lake from most of the walk.
