A good day out in the countryside for budding farmers

点评：Small site but lots to do. Plenty of themed play areas, trampolines, mini quad bikes, rides, activities with animals. Also both a cafe and a covered picnic area. We were there for 3 hours with 4 year old granddaughter and didn't get round everything. The best part (for both adults and children) was the tractor ride which had a friendly and interesting guided commentary and a trip across the fields. It is clearly part of a working farm.
Good for inspiring young farmers of the future! The animals seemed happy and well cared for.
Good car parking and clear information boards about all the animals and birds.
Best to plan your visit to male sure you get to participate in activities, the times of which are given at the entrance. The only reason I didn't give full marks was the expensive entrance fee and not many knowledgeable staff, but I didn't begrudge this too much as it will have cost a lot to set up and they have thought of just about everything. To save money, you may want to take a picnic.
