点评：I called Susan to try and schedule a visit to White Pocket on short notice. She was so kind and offered to take us in even though they were not open for season till March 1. When we arrived at the Outpost, we met Susan and Steve at their facility right on route 89. Steve whisked us away down Houserock Rd right away. He was such a humble soft spoken man throughout the tour. The roads are challenging and he knows every nook and crevice. When we arrived at White Pocket, he had us enter from the side of the parking lot so not to disrupt another small group entering the main gate. As we entered the formation, he would point to the direction of each area and let us discover how awesome it was as he followed close behind. It was nice to not be led by the hand through the location. I have a bum knee and he knew exactly how to direct our tour to accommodate me. He and Susan are experts on all the locations throughout the region and you come away with a better knowledge of the The Vemillion Cliffs and surrounding area. All throughout the day, he encouraged us to call him anytime we are in town so he could direct us to unguided areas that we could visit on our own. To me, these folks are the real deal. Would not even consider any other guide. Thanks again, Steve and Susan, we will never forget this trip.
