Decent Beach with Soft Sand and Great Access by Speedboat

点评：We took a speedboat directly to Tawaen Beach this time, which drops you off right on the sand itself.
In the past, I have taken the ferry to the pier, and I remember it was not the easiest walk to get over to the beach, so the speedboat is definitely a much more convenient option.
The beach itself is decent, featuring nice soft sand and a well-partitioned swimming area marked out with floaters to keep swimmers safe from boat traffic. It was a good, comfortable experience overall.
The setup on the beachfront is very practical for a day out.
We rented a lounger on the sand, and a great bonus was that it apparently allowed us to use the toilet facilities inside a nearby restaurant.
I do not recall seeing any major chain stores when I first visited, but looking at the map now, there is a 7-Eleven there, so it is either brand new or I completely missed it last time. There are plenty of local stalls around for anything you need, making it a very easy place to spend the day.
