博物馆岛的点评
点评：The Museum Island houses some of the most interesting museums in Berlin. We began at the Altes Museum with Etruscan, Roman, and Greek art and artifacts. Thi si where we bough the Museum Island Day Ticket (24 euros) which covers all the included museums in a single ticket, without the need for timed entry slots at any museum - you just walk in.
Next was the Neueus Museum, with extensive Egyptian exhibits incl some tombs with extensive hieroglyphics and the famous the bust of Nefertiti.
We quickly went through the Alte National Galerie. Artworks include some masterpieces by Monet (132438), Renoir (132624) and Van Gogh (132649), and some German masters like Friedrich and Schinkel.
Our next stop was the Pergamon Panorma, a 360 degree simulation of the ancient city and some exhbiits from the museum (currently closed for repair).
Our final visit was the Bodes Museum which houses the famous 6th century Ravenna mosaic.
A very rewarding day in Berlin.
