Great castle. Cawl or Veg soup ?

点评：We paid a visit today and made the most of the bank holiday. My partner is not from the area and has never seen the castle. She was blown away by the views which were incredible. The castle is interesting and always a pleasure to visit.
Now the negatives… the price is a little steep for entrance into the castle. £5 per person would be more than acceptable but £16 for 2 of us seems a little too steep.
The cafe is a lovely set up with old barn conversion that’s beautifully done. Great cakes and coffee but my only complaint was I ordered the Cawl and didn’t have one bit of meat in it. I mean 0. Not even the broken down strands. I should have complained but it was never less still a tasty Veg soup but not a Cawl. The staff were lovely and the cakes were to die for. Would have given 5 stars if not for the entrance Price and Cawl.
