点评：Never been here before. Your ticket entitles you to entry for a year, great idea. I only had one day, think I managed to cover most of it. Ideally I would recommend if you are with someone else that you set aside two days. The place is huge. So much to see. There are paintings, some absolutely huge, and tapestries within the house.. Definitely worth the entrance fee. There are a couple of places to eat, a gift shop (of course). There is also the view on the roof terrace, which you have to be fit enough to get up there, and then come back down!!! If you go for a walk down by the boat house, there are seats available if you get tired or just want a chance for quiet reflection, although that path is not recommended for wheelchairs and buggies, which is a shame, because I don't think you see as much on the other path.
Lots of stuff about Churchill obviously, and the history of the house and family. Weather was not brilliant on the day I went, but it was January so not expecting blazing sunshine, and there is nothing they can do about the weather!!
