Definitely worth visiting
Hopperstad Stave Church的点评
点评：We were interested in visiting a stave church during our holiday in Norway and found that we were staying quite close to Hopperstad. It's located on a hillside just outside the town of Vik and so easy to reach by car. There was free parking immediately outside the church. The church is open from 10am and you buy a ticket just outside. We received a pensioners discount and paid 110 krona each.
The church is quite extraordinary. This one is 900 years old. You enter by a small door and it is quite dark inside. A very kind guide from the National Trust gave us a brief explanation of everything in English, pointing out all the main features and things of interested. He was very knowledgeable and his English was superb. We would not have noticed so many things inside the church if he had not pointed them out to us.
