Wrest Park的点评
点评：As lifelong fans of the Narnia books and films, my friend and I didn't hesitate to book tickets to Wrest Park for a festive day out. We absolutely loved it! We walked through the wardrobe and arrived at the lamppost then through a few rooms of the house that depicted various scenes such as Mr Tumnus' kitchen, the throne room and the white witch's dining room. I've been to a few other themed houses in the past, some more extravagant than others. This was the first one that was interactive which was a nice touch, being able to sit on the thrones etc for photos. It was also very quiet on the Thursday morning we went so we were able to take our time going through the rooms. All the staff we spoke to throughout were really friendly and chatty. I was surprised to read some of the other reviews, given it was included in the ticket price and created by hardworking volunteers, I don't understand some of the criticism. If you they want to see every room dressed to the nines, go to Chatsworth or Blenheim who have a much larger budget and pay a considerably higher price for a ticket. For what we paid here, our expectations were met. We had lunch in the cafe which was nice and then went for a nice long walk around the grounds which were beautiful. A thoroughly enjoyable day out.
