Beautiful place to visit - Dog Friendly too

点评：What a stunning property to visit. Part of the Heritage group, you can enter with your membership. Great parking onsite (free). Very friendly and welcoming staff. We visited with our dog (so not inside the house), the gardens are simply superb! Absolutely perfectly maintained and good signage, so you can read about the history of every part. Good map guidance at the start too (so you can plan a route). Lovely cafe (great baked potato and cakes, good coffee too), along with good toilet facilities and best of all Dog Friendly (water bowls everywhere - thank you). We spent a couple of hours here and didnt see everything (we will be back). In the gardens though there's a lawn bowls area (with bowls to let you have a go) and even, hidden away, is a ring of greek columns, dating back to the 2nd Century BC!! A place full of surprises and beautiful views.
