点评：TICKET AVAILABILITY: We booked an online ROUND TRIP SUMMER TICKET two days in advance, and on the morning of our trip (a sunny Saturday) there were still tickets available online.
GETTING HERE: Parked at the train station in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, 6€ for a whole day. With an online ticket, you just go through to the platform.
Took the train at 8:15 AM, switched to the cogwheel train in Grainau and went upto the Zugspitzplatt. Easy to follow signs.
Went back down with cable car, and here is the only complaint. Way too crowded, we waited for half an hour to get on and got no view at all as we had to stand in the middle. Back down in the valley, the first train back to Garmisch-Partenkirchen was full, next one came in 10 minutes but was also full, so we sat on the floor.
Could have been better organized as it's (in my opinion) expensive (78€ per adult).
CLOTHING: Sturdy shoes (very rocky on the Zugspitzplatt and uphill walk to visit the church), dress in layers and bring a warm jacket. Sunscreen and sunglasses are a must.
EATING AND DRINKING: There is one restaurant at each station (Zugspitzplatt and the gipfel) but we brought our own food and water.
TIP: CHECK THE WEATHER. We had a clear, sunny day. If it's cloudy at all, the whole experience is lost.

饮食方面：每个站点（楚格峰平台和山顶）都有一家餐厅，但我们还是自带了食物和水。
小贴士：务必查看天气预报。我们那天天晴无云；如果天气稍有阴沉，整个体验就会大打折扣。
