Hikes, cozy towns, history and boat rides!
Gros Morne National Park的点评
点评:Stay long enough to take it all in. You can hike, kayak or canoe, take a boat tour, shop, dine on fresh seafood, visit historic sites. And the people are unique and charming.
The Gros Morne Discovery Centre, located near Woody Point, is by far the better information centre. It has the expected gift shop and interpretive displays, but also a really engaging video, Indigenous exhibit and just more of everything.
Hikes here range from 10-minute 250-metre paths to challenging three-day treks. Know you limits and walk what appeals to you.
The Tablelands are cool, but you really don't have to go all the way to the end. It's the same red rock plateau all the way through. But it is an easy hike with no real incline, so if you want a walk, go for it. Wear the right shoes as the shale is sometimes crumbly.
