Great staff, but important details not made clear

点评：I recently attended a half day spa and had a mixed experience.
Communication beforehand focused heavily on treatment times but didn’t clearly explain what was included. There was no clear mention of a £6 robe charge or £2 locker fee (only a refundable deposit), and no confirmation of spa access times, which caused confusion on arrival.
Check-in was quick and easy, but I was also surprised by a strict no-phone rule on loungers, which didn’t seem to be applied consistently.
That said, the staff really made a difference. The general manager (Tim) was understanding and resolved the issue straight away, and the bar staff were very kind and helpful. I attended alone, which I don’t usually do, so this support meant a lot. This is the main reason I have left this review. If it hadn’t been for the staff on the day, my rating would have been much lower.
My favourite facility was the outdoor sauna, which was lovely. The treatment rooms were nice, and the waiting room loungers were relaxing.
