点评：This is my second visit to Palatine hill and I was struck by just how much there is to see. It is like touring a village. It’s huge! I lived the amount there is to see and the beauty throughout.
The queue into the site is very long even if you have tickets. There is no shade so wear sunscreen, take water and wear a hat.
The site has a such a range of ruins to see. It is wonderful. The views are sublime. I really do believe that Palatine hill is a better experience than the colosseum. There is more space and less crush.
There are still people hogging the spots for views and photo opportunities for ages. So please be aware.
There are stunning gardens and shaded areas to enjoy away from the heat. It is very tranquil in some sections.
It is trickier for buggies and wheelchair access in some places due to the nature of the site.
There are toilets and vending machines on site. These are as expected, busy.
I really would recommend a visit here. It is magnificent.
