点评：A lovely experience to go on the traditional wooden train to Soller. The train goes up to Soller from the centre of Palma and it‘a like stepping back in time with the windows open and seeing the local countryside.
I will say it’s not a cheap experience and the online booking experience is somewhat frustrating because it only allows you to book certain times if you book the tram (which takes you from Soller town to the port once you get off the train). I wasn’t that interested in paying for the tram really, although it was a lovely ride, it’s an extra 7euros each and and the bus is only 2. It definitely wasn’t worth 14 euros a couple, and it was 9 euros if you just bordered without pre booking. We also wanted to change our ticket at Soller to go back later but the ticket office is apparently closed throughout the day and says to buy tickets on the train. We didn’t want to chance it, especially as it said the trains were full but when we got on our booked train there were so many empty seats it was a shame. Saying all of that though, I would definitely recommend a visit to Soller and the port, and the train was a lovely way to do it. Definitely book in advance too and I’d say to stay for the whole day if possible as it’s a lovely place for a wander or even a swim at the port.
