点评：Come for the Library, Stay for the Animals! We went to Theodore Roosevelt National Park in September 2026 on a road trip to see four national parks in the Dakotas and Minnesota. The jewel in the crown of this national park is the presidential library, located within the national park. It is well worth getting advanced reservations and taking a visit. In addition, as we drove throughout the park to get to and from the library, we really enjoyed the extensive animal viewing on the scenic drives, including prairie dog towns, bison, and wild horses. We asked at the ranger station about Roosevelt elk, but the herds were not in the areas where we drove. This is a lovely national park, and I would say that you could enjoy it in one day, as we did. I am very glad we went here.
