点评:The erosion of the rocks here is quite amazing, a bit like some parts of Utah, but on a smaller scale (and no red rocks here). There are two trails, so depending on time you can choose the shorter green trail or the longer trail. Both are worthwhile.
Take good hiking boots if possible! Or, if not, have good walking shoes. While the trails are good, there are many rocks on the trails, and a twisted ankle is easily possible without good footwear. Also be aware that the clay on the pathways gets very slippery if it has been raining - another good reason to have footwear with a lot of grip.
Even the drive out here is very beautiful, taking you into some mountainous countryside with lots of olive groves, occasional small villages, and sometimes sheep grazing on the hillsides.
The closest parking lot will likely be full unless you are really in off-season, but there are other parking lots further away from the main entrance, and a good walkway connecting them.
The informal restaurant in the visitor centre is good, and quite reasonably priced. You can also get snacks and drinks to go.
The visitor centre also has some maps posted, which can help you decide which loop trail to take. The actual trails are well-marked.
