点评:1 Star - Beautiful building, but ruined by toxic, sexist, and highly inconsistent enforcement of the dress code.
I was repeatedly singled out and targeted by security guards for wearing shorts that sat barely 1.5 inches above my knee. Meanwhile, at least 10% of the people inside—including dozens of men and women with significantly shorter shorts, skirts, and dresses—were allowed to walk around completely unbothered.
When I pointed out this unfair double standard to the guards, they briefly targeted a few nearby women but continued to completely ignore the men with exposed knees.
The issue is not the rule itself, but the biased and arbitrary way the staff enforces it. It is humiliating and offensive to be picked on while others slip by. If St. Mark's wants to enforce a dress code, they must apply it equally to all genders, or show reasonable leniency for standard, modest shorts. Total double standard.
Picture is what I was wearing after I covered up, but it's a long shirt that frills out and then same color shorts that are attached to the shirt and shorts are not tight, frilly and go almost to the knee.
