点评：One of our most captivating experiences in Vienna was attending the Spanish Riding School performance of the Lipizzaner Stallions on a Sunday at the Hofburg Palace’s Winter Riding Hall — a Baroque masterpiece completed in 1735. With its high vaulted ceiling, chandeliers, and pristine white arena, it felt more like a royal ballroom than a stable.
The 1,000-seat theater was filled to capacity. We had wisely purchased our tickets months in advance for the 70-minute performance. The program began with the young stallions demonstrating the early stages of training and progressed to the mature horses executing the elegant movements of classical dressage with remarkable precision. The choreography was set to the music of Mozart and Strauss.
The entire experience felt like stepping back into the grandeur of Imperial Vienna — a rare blend of art, history, and tradition brought beautifully to life.
