点评：We arranged for a driver for 9 days to take us to various places throughout Sri Lanka. During the planning stages we had regular contact via email and WhatsApp. We were collected at the airport by Mr Bonni who drove us straight to our first hotel after a long flight. During the long drive he chatted to us about the country and was very professional. After a couple of days we were collected by Gayan who was our driver for the rest of our trip. We have never had a driver before but we would have been lost without him. Each day we had a chat about what we wanted to do and formulated a plan. Gayan was our driver, photographer and official guide. He suggested things that we might like to do, stopped at street vendors between towns to try Sri Lanka specialities. We had lunch with him and soon we felt lost without him. The only thing I wish was that we had arranged some of the tours through him rather than ourselves albeit he was more than happy to help with any issues we had. During the trip we celebrated our wedding anniversary and Gayan arranged for a really lovely framed picture of our trip as a gift.
