Incredible Building That Shows off the City and the Art

点评：One of Cologne's premier attractions is this modern art museum between the river and the Cathedral. Let me be the first to say that I am not the biggest modern art fan; however, I loved this building and the way it blends with the art inside and the community outside. In many ways this does not fit in the heart of Cologne, and at the same time, it is perfectly placed to be a great attraction between the Rhine and the Cathedral.
I happened to visit late in the afternoon after our visit to the Cathedral and before we went out on our brew pub experience. There was no line and I was easily able to enter and get a ticket. The fee was nominal and very reasonable for an art museum. I spent just over 30 minutes in the building, but I was able to see so many great pictures and exhibits from Picaso to Dali to Andy Warhol. While the exhibits and art were good, I was more impressed with the building and the way it shows the art. It also has great window and patios that provide great views of the city.
You could spend hours here or you can only spend minutes as I did. However, it is a great attraction for the city that is perfect for you to visit.
