点评：The SG Community Garden Volunteer Group visited the Auckland Project in the 28.05.2026. We had prearranged the trip, on arrival we had a warm welcome from M.A. Head of Volunteering. M A. gave a professional , clear and comprehensive introduction to the Auckland Project. We were joined by C. who would be our guide around the wonderful walled garden and other lovely gardens around the Bishops Palace. C is a very experienced and knowledgeable expert in all things horticultural. He delivered an informative, humorous explanation of the history and current situation of the various gardens. Afterward we enjoyed a light lunch at the superb cafe at the Bishops Palace. There is so much to see and experience at The Auckland Project, the main Bishops Palace, the Spanish Art gallery, the Miners Art gallery, the wonderful gardens and surrounding Deer Park. One day is not enough to fully appreciate and savour all the wonderful attractions. We look forward to another visit in the near future. All the staff members we encountered were excellent, friendly helpful and informative. Many thanks to M.A., C and all the staff for making our visit so memorable, a true gem of an attraction.
