Scenic Cruise up the Rhine with a stinky issue

点评：We just returned from a Scenic cruise on the Rhine Highlights cruise on the RUBY.
There were approximately 84 cabins, 168 people, and the passengers were all very engaging at meals and excursions. There were many Canadians, British, some Australians, New Zealanders, and a few Americans making the trip more diversified.
We sailed from Breisach Germany north, making stops, ending in Zaandam (Amsterdam) Netherlands for debarkation. We reserved the trip only a few weeks before embarkation and took the last small cabin, and it was very affordable, less than $10,000 with air for two.
We have traveled on small river ships before. This crew was wonderful, all very attentive. The food was not as varied or creative as our other cruises (Avalon).
There was a big issue with the waste system 24/7, and for 8 days the smell of sewer gas permeated the stair, level 1 hall, massage room, treadmill room, level 1 hall and cabins 102 and 103. The crew and Ruby engineer could not 'fix' the sewage smell for 8 days. The Ruby is 19 years old and ready for renovation or decommissioning.
The bikes were great and we had tons of freedom using them with a group of cyclists or also taking off alone to explore. The excursions were also excellent, numerous, and the guides very educated. Traveling along the Rhine is very relaxing, scenic and sitting up on deck provides a panoramic view.
Scenic was not able to help us during the cruise to end the sewage smell
that kept us up during the night, and smell was experienced by the entire crew on level 1/their living quarters.

自行车很棒，我们可以自由骑行，既可以和一群骑行者一起，也可以独自探索。岸上游览项目也很棒，种类繁多，导游知识渊博。沿着莱茵河航行非常放松，风景优美，坐在甲板上可以欣赏到全景。
在整个航程中，Scenic公司都无法帮助我们消除下水道的臭味，
臭味让我们夜不能寐，而且一层的所有船员（也就是他们的居住区）都受到了影响。
