点评：I drive down from Scotland to attend the museum today, I was really looking forward to it after a great experience around 18 months ago. I don’t think I’ve ever been as disappointed in my life. It’s not a shadow of my previous visit. There’s an extreme lack of modern formula one cars, the exhibits are tired and even the scalextric was closed “due to maintenance”
I literally lasted 20 minutes and went to reception and asked if I had seen everything as I remember a lot more the last time. I won’t even tell you how disappointed I was with the way I was treated.
Come on, you are silverstone; the best track in the world, but unfortunately would appear the worst museum in the world, unfortunately an opinion shared by a lot of recent reviews not to mention other disappointed patrons I spoke to.
It would appear just as tickets to formula one here are stupidly expensive, so is the museum. I suppose with racing you at least get a good experience though.
