Whittington Wharf Narrowboats的点评
点评：This was our first experience alone on the canals (although we had attended an independant day course some weeks before, which I would recommend) and I am so glad that we chose Whittington to hire a narrowboat from.
Booking on their website is easy and everything you need to know is clear and concise. What you see is what you get and that's a lot.
When we arrived, nothing was too much trouble for Sandra and her colleagues. Unloading luggage from our car was simple, with us able to pull up right next to our 57' boat Clockwise, which was very clean inside and out. It was fully equipped with everything needed for living aboard. There's a handy, fully comprehensive guide of routes, safety procedures, lock operation, etc. Even central heating, a multi fuel stove and a TV.
Before we set off, Andy gave a full explanation of the routes available (with "rough" expected arrival timings") He also ran through the operation of the boat and stayed with us on board until he was confident we were happy on our own.
I would like to thank all at Whittington Narrowboats for a great experience.
