点评:I went there on a quiet Sunday in November for a first visit - I had heard a lot of good things about this place. A few steps before I got to the reception to get my ticket, a woman from the establishment stopped me and said the Villa was "full" and I couldn't get in. I said that was weird because I had seen one group of 5 people and another group of 3 people in front of me get in seconds earlier (both groups were Italian). I offered to come back later when the place would be less "full" but she made it very clear that I would never get in... UNLESS I bought an annual subscription to the Association of the Villa (39 euros I believe). I explained to her that I did not live in Milan so I was not interested in an annual subscription, so she turned me away.
This is absolutely disgusting and unacceptable. The establishment blackmails non-Italian tourists to try and squeeze out of them as much money as it can, and if they don't give in it turns them away. This is reminiscent of mafioso kind of practices, so I would strongly recommend to those in charge that this type of incident (I imagine there must be hundreds like this every week) be investigated and dealt with, otherwise the reputation of this place will be in serious danger soon.
An extremely disappointing experience. I will not be going back there in a hurry.
