What a lovely way to spend a couple of hours. Great food in lovely surroundings.

点评：My husband and I decided to visit for breakfast. We sat inside the beautiful barn which was so impressive . The food was superb! We weren’t expecting much to be honest as the breakfast is fairly limited and basic, but the quality is high. The eggs were poached to perfection, the bacon was cooked perfectly also, the hollandaise was rich, tangy and just divine, and the wild mushrooms were so fresh and tasted beautiful. Simple food yet delicious and beautifully executed.
The cappuccinos were made well. Good micro-foam, hot and tasted great. We even bought a couple of packs of their coffee from the shop next door.
The shop is lovely and stocks some very interesting and useful things. Some items are quite expensive but others are reasonably priced . We also bought half a dozen eggs. It’s a pity we weren’t there on a Saturday to enjoy their farmers market.
We walked through the woodland to the small vineyard which was lovely. It was a beautiful day for it. We stopped for two more coffees and a basque cheesecake which was gorgeous!
Just a pity they don’t offer wine tasting flights. We’ve been to so many wine estates that we don’t always want to, or have the time to do a wine tour which includes a wine tasting at the end. We would have tried their sparkling but apparently there wasn’t any unfortunately.
We had a lovely time and wouldn’t hesitate to visit again if we find ourselves in the area.
