点评：I was really disappointed with our visit. The park opens at 10:30 AM, which in Texas heat is already far too late. By the time we arrived, it was uncomfortably hot.
Check in was painful. I bought tickets via Groupon so there was a specific line with just one lady who then started having tech issues. Very poorly organized. There were 3 ladies on the regular line doing nothing and one or two could have well have been sent to help the other line move.
We headed straight to our first ride and were initially optimistic, only two groups ahead of us. But that short line still took 15 minutes because the loading and unloading process was painfully slow. After that, we tried to find a second attraction, only to discover that the Ferris wheel wasn’t working. At opening time, you expect all major attractions to be running.
We walked around and ended up at the fishing area, which was fun but not groundbreaking. beyond that, most of the park seemed to be play areas and splash zones rather than actual rides or experiences.
What bothered me the most was the complete lack of shade. None of the adult seating areas had any shade at all. in Texas, that’s just unacceptable. Adding shade structures is inexpensive, and it makes a huge difference for families trying to take breaks without overheating.
We decided to check out the show, hoping for at least one highlight, but even that was disappointing. The microphones weren’t working, and the sound kept cutting in and out, making it hard to follow or enjoy.
By midday, we were overheated, underwhelmed, and ready to leave. Unfortunately, this visit convinced us that we won’t be returning.

最让我恼火的是完全没有遮荫的地方。所有成人座位区都没有任何遮荫设施。在德克萨斯州，这简直令人无法接受。增设遮阳设施成本不高，但对于想要休息又不想被热死的家庭来说，却意义重大。
我们决定看看演出，希望能至少看到一个亮点，但结果却令人失望。麦克风出了问题，声音断断续续，让人难以集中注意力，也难以欣赏演出。
到了中午，我们又热又累，感觉很失望，只想赶紧离开。很遗憾，这次经历让我们确信以后不会再来了。
