点评：This was the worst experience I’ve had in Jamaica. While we weren’t initially concerned about being picked up an hour late, things quickly went downhill. The excursion was advertised as a two-hour snorkeling experience, so we were excited to get started. However, as we sat in the boat and watched the captain clean our masks with dish soap and ocean water, we remained hopeful and tried to stay positive.
We spent only about 30-45 minutes in the water before being taken to the island, where a large group was already present. The island was covered in trash, which was disappointing. This is when we finally met Captain Jace, who greeted us, told us to enjoy ourselves, and asked if we would stay on the island for a short while while the boat picked up another group. We agreed, assuming that once the boat returned, we would continue the snorkeling tour.
Unfortunately, there was no food available on the island since they were attending to a larger group ahead of us. We spent the time sipping beer, eating some pineapple, and relaxing on the small beach for about an hour.
After about 45 minutes, I politely told Captain Jace that we’d like to snorkel some more. He informed me that I could walk around the island in the water. To give some context, the water around the island was rocky and no deeper than my shins.
At that point, it became clear there would be no more snorkeling on the tour. We eventually got back on the boat, and they dropped us off at the hotel.
Overall, this experience was far from what we had expected, and we left feeling extremely disappointed.
