Excellent & historic science museum with a number of engaging interactive displays

点评：The Franklin Institute is an excellent & historic (founded in 1824) science museum with a number of engaging interactive displays for everyone in the family. Some of the highlights from my visit to this museum:
• Several of the planetarium shows were very good (Worlds Beyond Earth & To Space And Back), covering the latest advancement is space exploration & technology.
• There were two large display exhibits on multiple aspects of how the human body in general and the brain in particular works.
• There were two large displays on different historic & current space technologies (going along nicely with the planetarium shows).
• The Historic Collection gallery has scientific & industrial artifacts going back to the founding of the Museum (including stuff Benjamin Franklin used).
• The Historic Collection gallery also has several retired steam locomotives that were placed in this location before the Museum's building was constructed in 1930s.
If you're interested in the major topics above, you'll enjoy a visit to this museum.
