富兰克林研究院科学博物馆的点评
点评：This is the worst “museum” I have ever been to. Half of the exhibits are under construction. The ones that do exist are terrible and it’s all hands-on stuff for kids, aka disgusting buttons and switches with germs and dried vomit on them. There was a dozen school groups with screaming kids the entire visit. They left their trash everywhere too and it was never picked up.
The worst part was the “planetarium”. They ripped out all the nice theatre seats and replaced them with lawn chairs with zero padding or recline. So you got to sit in a metal lawn chair OR they also had some ripped up conference room chairs. The “show” was just a powerpoint that had nothing to do with astronomy or space- just a list of science facts narrated by someone in the back of the room.
The bathrooms were full of rust and trash. The stairwells between floors were dirty and dark. Half the place is just empty rooms or exhibits under construction that you can’t visit. I was done after about 10 minutes.
To top all of this off, they charge 30 dollars per person! I wouldn’t even go there for free! Oh and…. 25 for parking!!! The biggest waste of time and money I have ever experienced.
