Giancarlo Gargiulo & Tour of Italy: An Exceptional Resource For Our Italian Vacation

点评：Our family of 5 adults (with lots of luggage!) spent a phenomenal 15 days in Italy last month. One of the people who helped us maximize our time and enjoyment was Giancarlo Gargiulo of Tour of Italy. He is an English-speaking private driver and tour guide who provides airport/hotel transfers and customized tours all around Italy.
Our family used Giancarlo/ Tour of Italy 3 times on this vacation:
1) He picked us up at Naples Airport mid afternoon, gave of us a tour of Sorrento, made good recommendations for places to shop in Sorrento (especially for purses & leather goods), dropped us off for an early dinner, and then drove us to our hotel in Positano.
2) Another day, we did a customized tour of the towns of Ravello, Praiano, and Amalfi, and stopped for late lunch/ early dinner.
3) He picked the 5 of us up early AM at our hotel in Positano, dropped my daughter and son in law off at the Naples Airport, and continued driving my husband, son and I to our hotel in Rome. We made stops along the way- and even got to meet his charming 81 year old father (who founded the business.)
All communications with Giancarlo were prompt and straight forward. He is reliable, an expert and calm driver, and speaks English well. He was very informative about whatever area of Italy we were touring.
Another thought: If you are a party of 4 or 5 people, Giancarlo's prices - for private door to door service in his Mercedes van- are reasonable. i.e. compared to train tickets, where you pay per person.
In short, I highly recommend Giancarlo Gargiulo and Tour of Italy for your private driving and touring needs. He is a decent person who does what he says he will do. Grazie, Giancarlo- See you next trip!
