This beach has come a long way

点评：I remember when I was young the waterloo beach has always been a free place to swim. As the years have gone by it has been updated and taken a good step forward with what it has to offer.
They have recently updated parking to accommodate more Cars and offer longer parking for boats and trailers.
Parking is free and there is no cost to use the grounds. There are several picnic tables, benches and a restroom. They also offer Kayaks, paddle boards for rent and I can tell you they are very fun.
The beach has also been updated with a little kid water park with buckets and sprayers for them to run through and use. There is also a playground with a couple of swings, slides and a wall to climb. There is also place to lay down a blanket to have a picnic or a Gazebo if you want some shade to eat. Remember to bring something to drink/eat as they do not have a vending machine on site.
The beach itself is not very big but there is a little area for kids to play with the sand. My best advice is bringing some water shoes as there is rocks in the water when you walk in. In recent years the water quality has been no trouble and it’s always refreshing when bringing the family.
