Lovely gardens, not impressed by the tea rooms

点评：The gardens are beautiful. There is a lot to explore and we thought the admission price was fair. It would be helpful if there were signs or at least numbers to indicate where you are on the map. We spent about 90 mins wandering through the various gardens. Unfortunately we were very unhappy about the tea rooms. We arrived before 2pm and the selection was very poor. Various items had sold out. Your menu is very limited. Surely in that case, given the restricted choice, it makes sense to have a decent supply of what you DO provide. The cost was also high - £12 for a basic salad with half a baguette and small portion of ham. It was not busy when we visited. Such a shame to spoil what could be a really lovely day, with poor planning on the food front.
