Incredible Snorkeling Tour to Los Tuneles

点评：Incredible experience at Los Tuneles on the snorkeling tour I booked with Coral Blanco Tours when visiting Isla Isabella. It took just over an hour by boat to reach this location after leaving the ferry dock in Puerto Villamil. The setting is amazing and was formed by ancient lava flows that cooled on the surface while molten lava formed tunnels that later collapsed forming arches and bridges over lagoons along the coastline. We hiked and snorkeled here for 2 1/2 hours. There was an incredible variety of wildlife seen including blue footed boobies and marine iguanas. While snorkeling in the shallow waters, not only did we see an amazing number of tropical fish, there were sea turtles, an eagle ray, white tipped reef sharks and even a sea horse. You can only visit Los Tuneles as part of a guided tour by boat and I would highly recommend Coral Blanco Tours. This was the highlight of my visit to Isla Isabella.
