The Albany Historic Carousel and Museum的点评
点评：The Albany Historic Carousel and Museum, Oh my is this a hidden gem. One woman’s dream in 2002 to have a carousel in town with hand carved animals became a reality in 2017.
Today, we toured this fascinating muesum where volunteers hand carved each animal, other volunteers paint them, and others are docents, etc. The volunteers give their hearts to this wonderful place. The animals are truly works of art.
In the museum they have original carved carousel animals dating back to 1908. They are majestic. If ever in this next of the woods I’d highly recommend spending time in Albany. What a sweet town and beautiful Carousel and Museum.
Don’t forget to ride the carousel, grab a snack, take the tour of the museum and workshop, and visit with the wonderful volunteers.
