CAFE SURF HUATULCO terrible customer service

点评：My self and my gfs decided to go for a birthday paddle board with CAFE SURF. We had stopped in previously to ask about the time they opened and cost. We arrived at the surf shop and re told them we wanted to rent TWO paddle boards. As my friend is scared to go on one alone in the ocean I told her she could hop on mine. The owners of the shop initially said no that won’t work. We asked why not they said it would be too difficult which told them we’d plan to sit down so Taylor would feel more comfortable. They first said no it’s not allowed by the captain. Then changed his mind and said we’d need a larger one (more money) to fit us both (for context my self and my gfs are not fat overweight .) he then turns to my self and says okay but you have to ride alone as I am about 30 lbs heavier then my friends. I then asked me specifically needs to go alone and he said yes. It was so rude and uncalled for. I’ve never been body shamed like that and made us all feel uncomfortable. They weren’t happy at making less money with one less board so they turned to ignorance and disrespect.
Safe to say we won’t be returning. So if you’re even a little heavier I’d avoid as it was a pretty crappy feeling to have.
