点评:We flew from a safari camp in Kenya on a Dash 8, which is not a small aircraft operated by Kenya airways. We landed at the Nairobi domestic airport, Wilson Airport in the early afternoon. We were transferred to the international airport, Jomo Kenyata International Airport for our ongoing flight on Lufthansa which is scheduled for departure at approximately 11 PM. We were not allowed into the terminal building and told we had to wait until “around 6:30 p.m. or 7:00 PM” or whenever Lufthansa opened to their check-in counters. It is extremely poor service from the national airline takes connecting passengers from one airport to another, does not warn them or provide any facilities for them to wait for some six or eight hours and forces them to wait outside at the international terminal for several hours. I would strongly urge people not to fly through this very substandard airport. If a country is trying to attract international visitors and I understand that about 30% of Kenya’s economy is from Safari tourists, they are going to have to do far better than this.
