点评：Regan is fantastic. A true local expert on the area having grown up on the North Island. We chartered the boat for our family: myself, my husband, and our 3 year old daughter and Regan was so accommodating to us all. He was very kind to our daughter and answered all her questions very patiently. He even let her reel in a fish which was the highlight for her by far. For me, I wanted to see the otters and he certainly delivered there. We saw close to 50 only a short ride from the dock, including ones with pups and many rafted up in the kelp.
Regan was constantly assessing how the otters were feeling and never got too close, always respecting them and moving away if he felt they were getting agitated or concerned. He also knows where the eagles are, pointing out the various nests and where the pairs like to hang out.
You will absolutely not regret booking a tour with Regan!
